Premier Hair Surgeons was founded on a simple belief: hair restoration is surgery, and it deserves to be led by surgeons. Our practice brings together two Houston-area physicians whose careers are built on surgical precision, patient safety and genuinely natural-looking results.
Dr. William Buitrago, MD, PhD, brings fellowship-level training in advanced minimally invasive surgery and a research scientist's discipline. Dr. Marcos Ikeda, MD, brings fellowship training in cosmetic surgery and an artist's eye for proportion and balance. Together they plan, design and personally oversee every procedure performed under the Premier name — all on the HARRTS FUEsion X AI, AR and robotic-assisted hair transplant system.
Hair restoration is our primary focus. For patients who want to refresh the whole picture, our surgeons also offer a curated menu of aesthetic services drawn from their established practices.

Dr. William Buitrago

Dr. William Buitrago began practice in 2018 after completing a two-year fellowship in advanced GI minimally invasive surgery at UTHealth in Houston — one of the first programs of its kind in the country. That training, built on meticulous technique through the smallest possible access points, translates directly to the precision demanded by modern FUE hair restoration.
He completed his MD, PhD and General Surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine. A recipient of the National Institutes of Health Medical Scientist Training Program grant, he has authored 15 publications and given 30 research presentations at national symposia, including the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) Annual Meeting. His current research evaluates outcomes of micro-laparoscopic technologies.
Beyond surgery, Dr. Buitrago leads a full aesthetics and wellness practice in Baytown — from Alma Harmony laser treatments and BeautiFill body contouring to hormone replacement therapy — giving Premier patients access to complementary care under one trusted surgeon. He is fluent in Spanish.
